Chittenden
County Cricket Club, commonly known as CCCC, is located in Colchester,
Vermont. Yes ... in Vermont !!! It is true that Hiking, Skiing and
Snowboarding sound like typical Vermont Sports, but believe it or not some
cricket fanatics in the area have made cricket possible in the Green
Mountain State too. We are thankful to all of those who made cricket
a reality in Vermont. Your efforts are and will always be highly
appreciated.
Considering that Vermont is a small state, we still have decent club membership. Members of the club have varying backgrounds, from engineers who work at IBM to professors / doctors who teach at University of Vermont (UVM). In short, a nice
group of cricketers who take their cricket quite seriously. We try to
start the season
by mid April (weather permitting) and finish the season in late
August (trying our
best to stretch it as far as possible).
Members are highly encouraged to visit our Web Page regularly for the
latest news and to see the schedule as it is updated from time to time.
New and old members are requested to fill in the Membership form and send
their annual dues to any of the club officers ASAP.
If
you are the representative of a cricket club in the New England Area and
would like to test CCCC's cricketing skills, please feel free to contact
our club officers.
Visitors, we have included a schedule of our upcoming events and directions to our home ground if you'd like to come by to see a game.
